Peepshow started as a burlesque show that featured celebrities Spice Girls’ Mel B and Dancing with the Stars’ Kelly Monaco (although both did not do any nudity) and is directed by known Broadway choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who also directed Legally Blonde the Musical.
The show utilizes pop songs and brilliant choreography to tell the story of Bo Peep’s (Holly Madison) journey into whatever. I didn’t understand the story but I just loved the dance numbers with their very signature Jerry Mitchell style, especially that “Milkshake” and “Red Blooded Woman” numbers.
It’s too bad this show did not produce a show recording as Cheaza, the show’s Peep Diva was truly mesmerizing.
